The company has
Single Depot 50,000 sq.m. for Containers. Our Depot is located near the Port of Thessaloniki (ΟΛΘ) and the industrial area of Thessaloniki (ΒΙΠΕΘ).
o 12000 sq.m. of them are paved and are used mainly for the storage of load containers.
Privately owned 35,000 sq.m. (KTEO area) near the Port of Thessaloniki (ΟΛΘ) and the industrial area of Thessaloniki (ΒΙΠΕΘ) (they will be ready for use soon).
Total area 85,000 sq.m. used exclusively for containers.
Depot is a standard container center that aims to cover all the activities of our company and our customers. In addition, our space is guarded by Security company from 18:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. There is a 24-hour security system with surveillance cameras and video recording.
Our company has 9 privately owned lifting machines:
1 Linde Reach Stacker 45 tons (up to seventh floor).
1 Kalmar Lmv 45 tons (up to fourth floor).
1 Svetruck Spreader 42 tons (up to third floor).
1 Smv 32 ton core with device.
1 Svetruck for 18 ton Container gaps (up to seventh floor).
1 Kalmar 6 ton firearm.
2 lifting machines, one 1.5 ton and the other 2.5 ton for loading and unloading goods in the Containers.
1 lifting machine, 4 tons with a special device for loading and unloading and filling paper rolls in Containers.
Thessaloniki Express in order to serve the needs of its customers has created and organized a “network” consisting of privately owned and cooperating trucks.
The fleet we have created is technologically sound and excellently maintained.
The vehicles we use are:
- 30 Privately owned trucks.
- 35 Cooperating trucks.
- 40 proprietary trailers for 20ft, 40ft and 45ft containers, of which:
- 3 tippers.
- 35 partner trailers for 20ft, 40ft and 45ft containers.
Both our trucks and our machines are modern and are insured with the largest insurance companies that provide us with insurance of all risk goods (Clause A ‘and Clause C’) for the best and safest transport of Containers.
Our trucks are equipped with a positioning system (GPS) to ensure the timely and safe transport of containers.
